ORQUESTRA SINFÓNICA DO PORTO CASA DA MÚSICA MICHAEL SANDERLING direcção musical ANTON BRUCKNER Sinfonia n.º 6 Dubbed by Bruckner as “the most daring” due to its experimental character, the Sixth Symphony is a prolific work in ideas, with creative features clearly perceptible in its magnificent orchestration. A favourite work of the composer, neglected by critics, this is the only symphony that was not subjected to the composer's customary revisions, having had its posthumous premiere in 1883, by the Vienna Philharmonic. A commented concert under the direction of the acclaimed conductor Michael Sanderling, the new Principal Conductor of the Lucerne Symphony Orchestra.
