Founded in 2021, Alto Minho Youth Orchestra (AMYO) brings together young Portuguese and foreign musicians with the aim of boosting cultural activity in the north of the country and offering high-level orchestra training and experience. For its debut at Casa da Música, AMYO brings one of the masterpieces of the symphonic repertoire, Also sprach Zarathustra, by Richard Strauss, and an unavoidable piece from the repertoire of any clarinetist, Clarinet Concerto in A major, K.622, by Mozart.
