Matthias Goerne forms a point of reference in the world of Lieder. In this concert, he presents the world premiere of a personal approach to a leading work of Romanticism. The poetic narrative of Dichterliebe, with poems by Heinrich Heine, is arranged/composed by Jörg Widmann in a rereading that superimposes historical times in a manner which attributes maximum value to the word. Music turned into literature and literature turned into music.
