  • Ekaterina Richter is an associate professor at the Moscow Conservatory and a strong representative of the Russian piano school. She studied with Elena Richter and Elisso Virssaladze, in Moscow, Klaus Hellwig in Berlin and Pavel Giliov in Cologne, having been awarded in important international competitions. In this recital, she interprets key works by Chopin and other composers of Polish origin influenced by that icon of Romanticism. Richter will also interpret four virtuosic preludes by Rachmaninoff, regarded by many as the last great romantic.
