1ª Parte Orquestra Barroca Casa da Música Fabio Biondi violino e direcção musical Antonio Brioschi Sinfonia em Ré maior Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Sinfonia n.º 13 em Fá maior, K. 112; Concerto para violino n.º 7 2ª Parte Remix Ensemble Casa da Música Tito Ceccherini direcção musical Ilya Gringolts violino György Ligeti Concerto para violino e orquestra The violin concerto was created during the Baroque as a vehicle for communication and the transformation of affections. The expansion of the orchestra, the consolidation of the sonata form and the soloist cadenza deeply changed Classicism. The first part of this concert features orchestral music associated with the Duchy of Milan, where Mozart lived intermittently between 1769 and 1773, and where he reportedly wrote the concerto Symphony. Ligeti, whose centennial is being celebrated, wrote a violin concerto inspired by the past but with two eyes set on the future. Contemporary techniques merge with classical models in a unique way. Two virtuosos, two aesthetics, three great concerts.
