The tragic love story of Tristan and Isolde, a Don Juan disillusioned with life in search of the unreachable and even two brothers who wander in a forest looking for a flower that will bring one of them the succession to the throne. This afternoon's stories take us to some of the most famous scores that have explored the themes of love and death, signed by three absolute geniuses of orchestral music: Wagner, Richard Strauss and Mahler. Joining three in-house ensembles of Casa da Música under the direction of the principal conductor of Orquestra Sinfónica, this concert is filled with drama and emotional intensity.
