  • Lloyd Cole returns to a country that has always cherished his music. The classics that the English composer wrote at the beginning of his career with the Commotions permeated our radio playlists in the 1980s, and since he went solo in 1990 Cole has never lost his connection to Portugal, solidifying his reputation in each live performance. Now, in addition to the classics collected over the last 35 years of a prolific career that has given us some of pop's best songs - from “Lost Weekend” to “Brand New Friend” or “No Blue Skies” - Lloyd Cole brings us a new set of songs that give shape to his 12th solo album, Guesswork. In this new pop album with an electronic edge, Lloyd Cole reunites with old comrades like Blair Cohen, from the Commotions, or Fred Maher, an elite drummer who also worked with Lou Reed.
