Christmas is a festive season that has nurtured the creation of many vocal works. In this concert, Coro Casa da Música joins with members of the Orquestra Barroca Casa da Música for a journey from the Renaissance to the present day. From Christmas carols belonging to various traditions to Latin motets, from oratorios and cantatas of the late Baroque to the world premiere of a work by Alex Freeman, we can follow the way this moment is experienced musically, in a heterogeneous programme providing a journey through different Christmases.
