Nena is a singer songwriter who was born in Lisbon. She felt a passion for music from an early age, having written her first song at the age of 12. In 2019, she started her music career thanks to the encouragement and support of João Só. Her influences range from John Mayer to Taylor Swift to names like Sara Bareilles, the Dixie Chicks and Maro. The most recurrent theme of her songs is that of love, in a compositional process where lyrics and music are written at the same time. The songs which introduced her to the public were “Portas ao Sol” and more recently “Do Meu ao Teu Correio”. She will perform an intimate concert that will feature these and other songs off her debut album, to be released later this year.
