Concert Casa da Música Choir Classical music Simphonic Orchestra

Oratório de Páscoa

SUN 30 MAY · 6PM SALA SUGGIA

Johann Sebastian Bach lived almost three decades in the city of Leipzig, where he wrote countless brilliant pages in the history of music – and at an impressive pace, as demanded by the positions he held. The oratories presented in this concert reflect the celebration of life linked to the Resurrection of Christ, and are accompanied by one of the most celebrated concertos for soloists and orchestra written by the German genius. Celebrating its 15th anniversary, Orquestra Barroca Casa da Música joins a cast of soloists specialized in ancient music for an interpretation as faithful as possible to the time when these works were created.
