Ludwig van Beethoven Sinfonia n.º 5

Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 embodies the Enlightenment spirit that transcended borders. The vision of a new way of writing orchestral music took root from this work, which for the general public became a kind of synecdoche of symphonic classical music. Because of its symbolism, this was the desired context to make known to a wider audience the intense work undertaken by the Casa da Música Education Service in projects which, using the tools of music, are designed to actively involve communities with special needs and contribute to their easier inclusion.
