Um Tom Sobre Jobim is the show that pays homage, through the voices of Stacey Kent and Danilo Caymmi, to the genius of Tom Jobim, one of the most important and influential Brazilian musicians and composers of all time.

Danilo Caymmi grew up very close to Tom Jobim, due to his close friendship with his father, Dorival Caymmi. He participated in the album Caymmi visita Tom e leva seus filhos Nana, Dori e Danilo and in 1983 he joined Banda Nova, staying with Tom until his death, in 1994, as artistic director. It was with the encouragement of Tom Jobim that Danilo would end up making his debut as a singer.

Stacey Kent, one of the most renowned and popular voices in contemporary jazz, has never hidden her great admiration and fascination for Brazilian music. Nominated for a Grammy with the album Breakfast on the Morning Tram, winner of the BBC Jazz Awards and named Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters of France, Stacey Kent has sold over two million albums throughout her career, reaching the top of the lists of several countries.
