After an extremely successful autumn tour in North America, in 2023, Steve Vai, recognized by critics and audiences as one of the best guitarists in the world, is embarking on a European tour. Inviolate, his 10th studio album, which was released a year ago, forms the basis for the concert repertoire he is bringing to Casa da Música, accompanied by the Hydra, a one-bodied, two-headstock, three-armed guitar – an instrument that the musician considers as having “the potential to become historic”.
