  • Founded more than 10 years ago, the World Doctors Orchestra has fulfilled its mission of combining music with the improvement of global health by conducting various charity concerts every year in some of the best concert halls in the world. Consisting exclusively of physicians, the orchestra performs in Portugal for the first time with its principal conductor Stefan Willich. The programme features the world premiere of Arsis e Thesis, a work for clarinet and orchestra by the Portuguese composer Eurico Carrapatoso, and Anton Bruckner’s Fourth Symphony. The revenues of the two concerts held in Portugal will be donated to the Portuguese association Health4moz.
